We were saddened to learn of Ruth Beechick's death in late 2013. Ruth was a lifelong teacher, both in the classroom and as a curriculum writer. She was a mentor to the late Debbie Strayer, author of our Trail Guide to Learning series. Ruth's teaching philosophies heavily influenced Debbie's and helped shape the Trail Guide to Learning series. Ruth will be greatly missed. To honor Ruth and her contributions to homeschooling, we are giving away a copy of three of her books: The Three R's, You Can Teach Your Child Successfully, and Dr. Beechick's Homeschool Answer Book. I have only read articles that she has written in HS magazines, always encouraging and eyeopening. Would love to read more of her wisdom.

I have not read any of her books yet, but I would love to.

Ruth’s books have been instrumental in my homeschool and I am so thankful that she shared her wisdom and experience with the homeschool world. I’ve read the Three R’s series, You Can Teach Your Child Successfully (currently rereading this one!), A Biblical Home Education and Adam and His Kin.

Now that we use the TGTL, I find myself wanting to read her books more than ever! I really want to read the Homeschool Answer Book that she did along with Debbie Strayer. Both of these amazing women will be sorely missed.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

We have been going through her Genesis book and I love how in depth she goes into a very important part of our history. I am not familiar with her other books or teaching philosophy.
